NetStreams™ Integrates IP and RS-232 Control of Panamax`s MAX® 7500-PRO in DigiLinX™ Multi-Room Audio and Control System

IP Control Reduces Installer Service Calls, Lowering Time on the Road and Fuel Consumption

PETALUMA, Calif. — May 27, 2008 — Panamax, a world-leading provider of AC power management solutions, today announced that the NetStreams™ DigiLinX™ IP-based multi-room audio and control system provides an IP driver for Panamax`s MAX® 7500-PRO power management system. Utilizing the green-friendly M7500-PRO IP card, DigiLinX provides users with control of the M7500-PRO, reducing the need for installers to commute for service calls, routine maintenance, and resetting. For RS-232 control, the M7500-PRO connects to the ControLinX™ CL100 for easy integration with DigiLinX.

In any home or commercial venue, DigiLinX distributes high-definition multimedia content to a countless number of zones and displays for the ultimate IP A/V experience. When utilizing the M7500-PRO IP card, Panamax`s M7500-PRO power management system connects directly to DigiLinX, with no additional hardware needed. For RS-232 control, the M7500-PRO connects to the ControLinX CL100, which allows users to integrate and control supported brands of lighting, automated heating and cooling, and other subsystems easily with DigiLinX using the dealer setup program.

DigiLinX provides IP control of the M7500-PRO, which helps ensure that home theater systems deliver the best possible sound and picture quality by protecting them from electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), digital noise, and ground loop disturbances. Users have control of the M7500-PRO`s individual outlet banks, featuring power, trigger, and delay settings. Remote diagnostics check the unit status and incoming line voltages, while e-mail alerts for over- and under-voltages help users anticipate or prevent service calls.

"The integration of IP and RS-232 control of the M7500-PRO in our DigiLinX audio and control system offers a number of benefits for our customers," said Sanjay Castelino, vice president of marketing and business development for NetStreams. "For one, the M7500-PRO will provide users with exceptional audio and video quality. Additionally, IP control of the M7500-PRO reduces service calls. This is more convenient for users, and it also means less time on the road for installers, and less natural resources being used."

"We were pleased to partner with such a well-known innovator in audio and control systems as NetStreams," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Panamax and Furman. "Integrating IP and RS-232 control of the M7500-PRO into DigiLinX offers the ease of use and home connectivity that users expect, while also providing the best possible A/V experience. Another goal of our partnership was to be green-friendly. We achieved this goal by reducing fuel consumption, which is important for the environment."

The NetStreams DigiLinX system and ControLinX CL100 with control for the M7500-PRO are available now. Panamax`s M7500-PRO IP card is currently available at a suggested retail price of $199.95.
