Minima Amator II, the second-generation model originally launched in 1992, retains the original`s dimensions and materials while offering a contemporary electroacoustic design.

A CELEBRATION OF PRECIOUS MATERIALS
Minima Amator II draws inspiration from the Heritage collection`s natural materials - solid walnut, Italian leather, and metal - crafting a speaker that delights each of the senses.
Minima Amator II brings together a beguiling combination of natural materials.
The compact, solid walnut wood of the cabinet is complemented by brass embellishments with fine Italian leather covering the front baffle. The rear panel, also covered in leather and adorned with brass binding posts, houses the exit of the reflex duct.

Minima Amator II bridges our musical heritage with cutting-edge innovation. It harmonizes a vintage design with a brand-new electroacoustic project, bringing together the timeless elegance of the past and the latest technological advancements by Sonus faber.
D.A.D. TECHNOLOGY
The silk dome tweeter, with a diameter of 28mm, features DAD technology (Damped Apex Dome). With the extension of a ring radiator, this technology prevents resonances and pulls “anti-phase” movements at the apex of the soft dome by locally damping the diaphragm.
MIDWOOFER
A 150mm midwoofer, developed in the Vicenza-based laboratory, features our signature cellulose pulp and natural fibers cone on a die-cast aluminum basket, allowing the speaker to reveal even the smallest details during sound reproduction.
CUSTOM DESIGNED STAND (Sold as optional)
Minima Amator II is complemented by a custom designed stand, featuring a fine marble base.
