Superb DAC of high quality construction featuring point to point wiring. The design features an AC offset killer ensuring that any low power supply quality is not a problem. The Primaluna EVO 100 DAC absorbs this itself and ensures an extremely quiet sound image not influenced by the current.
The use of a tube ( valve) in the clock was a concept specially designed by Primaluna and replaces the solid state oscillator normally found in a DAC with a mini triode vacuum tube. This design delivers a significantly reduced amount of jitter and noise, delivering superior detailing and dynamics with improved musicality.
